Here's the new addition, I got him along with a sea star that I think was a mistake... I wanted a red serpent but they only had this "serpent" star. Now I'm thinking he's a green brittle which don't they eat fish??

They guy at the LFS assured me that my nitrate level was fine (see knew I couldn't trust 'em) just to see I tested their water and their nitrate level was like 80 ppm...

fish stores, I'll tell ya.... Couldn't refuse the deal huh? hehe. well, good luck with the Fire Shrimp. He's a beaut. I just got 2 myself last night.

I'm not sure about the serpent, you'll have to wait for someone else to answer that.

I had a sepent for ages and it never touched any of my fish, corals or inverts. I only got rid of him because he got too big! saying that, I might get another when the new tank is up and running!

Id put my money on a styrafoam shipping container, or a styrafoam cooler

And I agree, they look great, I have wanted to get a fire shrimp, but Ive decided im going to wait till I get my tank moved.

I like the "Serpent" star, even if hes a brittle

Does your LFS keep coral? I am just curious with such high nitrates

ding ding ding, it is a styrafoam cooler... this is where i drip acclimate. Had these poor guys in there for quite a while to be safe.

Yep they do, but I'm not sure if they are on the same system or not.
