We have siamese alge eaters that we got off aquabid....they have faired really well have had them for about 8 months and cleaned the black hair alge greatly.

Aren't Siamese Algae Eaters the same as Chinese Algae Eaters? Because CAE actually come from Thailand, which used to be called Siam.

No. They are not anywhere near the same, except for the place in the world where they come from.
