Hi every one I have been reading this forum for a week and its been really informative
I have had my tank for about 4 years but its only been up for like 2 years so for the past 2 years its been neglected
my wife's been reminding me to do something about it since then.
Today I started my new project, my last attempt to this hobby was not pretty (algae) but this time I think I have the time and she is willing to help me
so to start I tell you what I have to play with:
29g Eclipse tank 3 stage filtration sys.
Elite Submersible 150w heater
30lbs of sand
and I'll be buying the live rock tommorow

I also have a second tank not sure the water capacity is but I think is 18/20g tank I think is perfect for fresh water, heater and filtration and an air pump.

Now my goal is to have a fish only tank due to the lighting limitations that I have, so I want to aim for one Lion Fish habitat with maybe a couple of other fish using the Eclipse for the Lion and the other for the "feeder fish"
So do I need 25lbs pf live rock? and is 29g big enough for a Lion fish?
Please if there are any suggestions let me know.
Thank you for your time.
