Its always nice to hear about people doing their research first. I by no means know even little, or atleast feel that way, but it is a learning process, and as Im sure alot of others have done, I jumped into the hobby not knowing a thing originally and lost some fish that didn;t deserve to be lost. But now I have learned to research everything before makign rash decisions. Hopefully your ex will come to his senses and or run of money to stop buying and abusing fish.

I agree. He buys fish every week.
 
Well at least you're doing the reading and you can talk to your daughter. She'll enjoy it a lot more if she gets a healthy community going.
