Really glad....this project was starting to drive me crazy! Finally some results!

I think you're going to have to seriously consider some outdoor bar stools next to the pond and most likely a tall round table for the beverages of your choice while you enjoy viewing the pond.

Did you decide on a fountain?
I was talking with my girlfriends father about building a pond and he came up with the idea of an overflowing toilet bowl as a fountain...
... not really something I would do, but just thought i'd pass the idea on to you all...

We already have a table and chairs on the deck right next to the pond. I thought of that while i was designing the pond. Once there is plants and some fish in it I plan on having a BBQ.......
Right now I am leaning away from a fountain, I am probably going to install a water fall instead. Either a redwood planter box or a wooden barrel type waterfall......
Toilet bowl??? That is a pretty crazy idea!!!! Thanks for all the comments everyone!
Very nice style, simplistic, but beautiful. I think you should get those "deer scaring" bamboo fountains.
