to be honest, to make it a lot easier, i would just blend it all, freeze it in ice cube trays and feed that way, and feed in the tank with a little flow so the food distributes..

RE:

I dont think the seahorses would like puree mysis, same goes for the lion. I can only presume they would eat whole food.

some may not agree with me, others may absolutely agree....

but I don't feed flake food at all. I just go with frozen cuisines. They are much healthier and have less "filler" food. I have to feed far less then with flake food and seems like the colors on my fish have gotten brighter as well.

Of course, if you go with the blend process, then flakes are good to put in there. As filler of course. hehe.

RE:

I can understand where your all coming from, but what about live foods. Im not bothered about easyness of feeding them, i more bothered about overfeeding due to each fishes range of diet.

Lion eats everything
Seahorses mysis and live
Tang everything
Pulsating frag only 2 drops of liquid supplement every 2 days.

This can be a good topic as when you look into fish before you buy, you try to make them feel at home and aqire what they like individually. But as you are all saying it can complicate things which i agree.

You could try live brine shrimp. They are fairly easy to find at any good LFS. Not alot of nutriental value, but natural food.

Your missing my point. If your saying blend all the foods to make a puree food. They won't be getting any live food because it would be whizzed into a smoothie.

I like your idea, however I wont be using it. I belive each fish or crostacian should get what they eat individually. What i want to know is,
1. By doing this am i going to be putting too much food produce into my tank
2. What rota should i be using for my spicific tank inmates.
