*has the warm fuzzies* Awwww... thanks guys. I was honestly worried I'd really upset some of you by being gone like I was. I really didn't mean to and I just about squalled like a baby in the middle of work reading the last few pages and how mad and disappointed people have been...

Just glad nothing seriously wrong happened. Cant wait to see Dante!!!!! :headbang2: :headbang2: :headbang2: :headbang2:

How do you pronounce that? Dan-tee? Dain-tee? Dain-te?

How do you pronounce that? Dan-tee? Dain-tee? Dain-te?

I believe the classic pronounciation of Dante sounds like "Don-Tay" or "Dahn-Tay" where the 'a' sounds like the vowel in 'lawn' or 'yaht'.

And as for being 'popular' christopherhick... I think it's more the love of the species, the fish and the hobby in-general than it is the love of any particular person. It's an exciting thing to go for broke on something that's different and special in it's own way. So I was simply sharing my anxieties and joys over it just like anyone else here. I would've never thought my thread would grow into something like this. But I won't say it hasn't been good to have the support of my fellow hobbyists when I thought Dante was lost in the mail or that I'd been conned out of my money.

Anywho, I took soooo many pictures and stayed up so late last night that I ended up sleeping through my alarm so I didn't have time to drop off the camera with my friend so it's here with me at work. I'll try to call her on my break and see if she'd be willing to come and pick it up. If not, then I'll drop it off tonight and post the photos tomorrow when they arrive in my inbox.

It was so frustrating! I wanted to catch a photo of him swimming into the hole on top of his coconut, or bobbing his head out the top of it but the camera was always a little too late. Oh well. I'll ask her how the video feed works on her camera and maybe get a mini video of it? I personally think it's too cute. He also does this thing if I move my hands around near the glass close to the coconut. He'll drape his body across the entrance, stare me down, and flare his fins out as if to say "Back off, this place is taken!! No vacancy!!!"

He's such a hoot... :P

And we will all wait with patience and delightful glee....and this thread is the longest so far....Kyohti...you rock....yeah, we will wait like happy little children at christmas...it almost feels like that...:headbang2: :headbang2:
