After a long time of search and researching, I finally bought my tank. I bought it from www.drsfostersmith.com. It's a 24G Aquapod tank with 150W HQI Metal Halide Lights. $329.99 on sale, (LFS was asking 499.99 for the same set up).
It's going to be a reef system which I going to keep in my room.

-Everything came well packaged-

-I decided not to buy the tank stand they sell w/ the Aquapod. Instead I bought this one from www.petsmart.com $80.00 (I know it doesn't match the colors of the room, I couldn't find anything else. At Least it makes the tank lol)

The Quick Dip strip on the picture are going to be returned. I have the API Master Reef Test Kit now.

Two questions:
I didn't know the Metal halide lights were as hot as they are. Will the tank temp be ok or will I need a chiller?(got no space and no $ (literally)

If I want to create a Deep Sand Base in this tank, how many pounds of sand would I need?

Nice start!

If temp becomes a problem add a fan, as far as DSB it would be pointless to add one in a tank that small.

The Metal Halide Light has a built in fan, is that enough? Also got a ceiling fan in the room, would that help? By calculation 150W light will give a 24G 6+ wpg, is that too much?

What's the problem with a DSB w/ a 24G tank?

The built in fan may work, if not place one pointing across the water surface to push out the heat the halide is broducing. Your WPG is fine. The DSB is not large enough to have denitrifying areas, the outer 2-3 inches of a DSB are useless as oxygenated water is pushed down into it after hitting the wall, with the surface area you have it would be of no real benifit.
