My New Lighting Vs Old Lighting Pics

I put my new Lighting on. Trying to find out if its to much blue or just right. (Still getting used to it lol) Just want to make sure the corals will benefit from this light as well as the other light...

Old Lighting
(2) 175w halide 10,000k + (2) 96w CF actinic

(2) 175w halide 14,000k + (2) 110w VHO actinic

Personally, I like the old style better. But as far as the corals are concerned, I have no idea.

I haved 6500k and Actinics on mine, and I like the color...I guess everyone's different.

However, since you already bought and installed your lighting, I'd probably just get used to it. ;)
 
New lighting! Gives everything more color and less "white" light. Is that a skimmer I see at the bottom? I want pix of your sump! :D

I love the look of the new lighting and I think you will like it better in time too, probably need to get used to it.

As for your corals, all other things being equal, you should experience higher growth rates with your old lighting (10K+actinics) but you should experience more intense coloration with the new lighting (14K+actinics).
