He must be out enjoying the fruits of his labor.

Well I am back from a 2 week vacation.....The pond water is still clear but there is algae growing on the liner. Its looking more natural. The one bunch of anachris plants is growing nicely also...

my sponge filter keeps getting full of air and floating to the top of the pond. this is with a powerhead on top...that is a lot of weight...could algae growth produce enough oxygen to do that? I squeezed all the air out of the sponge filter in the morning and by the afternoon it is floating again! It just started happening the last couple of days....

on a positive note all the fish are still alive and appear to be growing fast and getting fat.....more updates when I get back from yet another vacation!

rock + fish line = sinking sponge.

never had that in my tanks and they are high light co2 tanks with the plants pearling.

Nice and simple, I like that. I am going to do something about it this week. I will keep everyone posted.....I am going to get some plants for the pond this week. A couple of lilies to start off with. I might also get some tropical plants to see how they do in the pond....
