Ha, I don’t believe one moment that it’s your first experience with live plants!

Thanks for your comments much appreciated, and it is my first experience with planted tanks, only a few months ago I started doing lots of research to see why my plants always died, after thousands of post that I read and comments from people on various forums on the net I decided first to upgrade the lighting and then start with the dry fert dosing and DIY CO2. Got the right measures for my tank from a post called (Gregs Ferts), then did another search to see where I could by the ferts online in the UK and decided to give it a go, and as you can see it really works and I am very pleased with the results, considering I have only normal gravel for substrate.

I went on holidays for a couple of weeks recently and when I came back it was a jungle, I will post an update shortly.
