My First Planted

London, you'rethe man!

This is a great tank and a awesome thread! Heck I learned more here than I could have searching many planted tank forums over the net. (This is certainly going to be bookmarked and added to favorites) lol

Thanks for keeping all of us updated on your progress. And most importantly, answering our questions.

Yuri.

Thanks Yuri, I am gland you enjoyed the read and liked the tank, if you have any questions I am always happy do answer them if I can, don't forget I am just starting too ;)
I will post an update in the next couple of days before I go on a two week vacation.

Outstanding looking tank!

I can't see the pictures :( By the sounds of everyone's comments it's an awesome tank, let's see those updates!

I can see them now :D That's a fantastic tank! I especially like the harlequin rasboras

First planted tank ever and you have perfect chemistry, fertilizer regime and composition, all in a perfect balance and extremely healthy looking plants?

Ha, I don’t believe one moment that it’s your first experience with live plants! :D

Don’t get mad with me, I’m always been a bit of a non-believer if people on the internet come up with pretty amazing stories, after all… it’s the internet.

And if I’m wrong, then my comments are the best compliments you can get, right? ;)

Thanks for your comments much appreciated, and it is my first experience with planted tanks, only a few months ago I started doing lots of research to see why my plants always died, after thousands of post that I read and comments from people on various forums on the net I decided first to upgrade the lighting and then start with the dry fert dosing and DIY CO2. Got the right measures for my tank from a post called (Gregs Ferts), then did another search to see where I could by the ferts online in the UK and decided to give it a go, and as you can see it really works and I am very pleased with the results, considering I have only normal gravel for substrate. :)

I went on holidays for a couple of weeks recently and when I came back it was a jungle, I will post an update shortly.

Outstanding tank LD! Looking forward to the updates!
