Case Against Mee-Mee

I've reviewed Mee-Mee's posts and noticed a pattern that needs to be shown. I still have other suspects and I will get to those later today but this is one I think is fairly well based and worth posting right now. I will not be voting for anyone however, until I have time to review all posts again. Also, I think we should remember the people who are not posting much, it seems the Don would likely be very quiet, letting the other Mafia build cases for them. Just a thought.​

and i finally got through all the threads...wow alot of posting...and it is really hard to tell who is mafia and who isnt...and the thing with CL...he did the same thing in games 1-3 and everyone lynched him and it caused us to lose an Innocent...so we have to be careful on who we decide to lynch in the first 48 hours...because we could very well lose this town to the dradded Mafia....and I do have my suspicions and it seems Ice is screaming all over my radar...but too early to tell at this point...

Warns us not to vote for CL (Mafia), but suggests Ice is "screaming all over my radar" who was Innocent AND the Detective.

My top 3 list is

Ice and Z tied for 1...because of the bantering back and forth to try and make them seem like they are pointing the finger at each other...(done in game 3 between 2 Mafia)

NolaPete for 2....having a conversation with NJ and calling her nosy...hhhmm

and GGF...acting the same way in all the other games....hhhmmm

major RED flags for all 4....but Ice and Z are on my main radar screen for sure hit Mafia....

I VOTE FOR ICE...:lipssealedsmilie: and if I am wrong and he isn't Mafia and he is lynched then I will hang my head in shame...and plant lots of flowers for him outside my Pastry Shop and name a new Pastry sandwich after him...

This to me is all I would need to vote Mee-Mee. Look at the "list." Ice and Nola are both Innocent... and now dead. GGF is basically out of the game to vacation and she didn't divulge to us that she was anyone special so I list her Innocent as well. Then there is myself, I won't go there except to say I know what I am. Four names, all wrong.

Wow, NolaPete wants to end his life....and it would be sad if we did lose another Townie...as he says he is....and that would be an advantage for the Mafia...one less Townie to worry about....Nola, please don't go...we Townies need you, and maybe you are an Innocent as you claim.....the more Innocents we have the less likely chance of the Mafia winning....but, if he wants to stop playing then we can't stop him.... :lipssealedsmilie:

CL has acted the same in all 4 games...and we all voted because of his on and off and on again posting we just might end up lynching an Innocent again...as he was in the other 3 games....so I am going to put him on the major reserve list for Mafia...for his pattern is repeating as it did in the other games...and He did turn out to be an Innocent...so we need to be careful and try to actually get the Mafia and Not the Innocents...but like Ogre said it is a 1 in 4 chance of us getting a Mafia.....and I am going to change my vote...

I vote for NolaPete and retract my vote for Ice...Ice brings up alot of good points about Nola....and for someone who don't want to play the game anymore does scream MAFIA to me....

This post boils down to "don't look at CL, look at Nola, no look at Ice, no look at Nola... Both Innocent.

Charlie, you can post in Italics all you want....but for me...I am keeping my Pastry shop closed for the meantime until we can get rid of the Mafia once and for all....we don't need no stinking badges to have a safe town...and enjoy our Tabloid paper that NJ so much likes to publish...NJ any news on the town so far...we need gossip...

But the day the Mafia are gone, we will celebrate with free Pastries and coffee and tea (from GGF), and I will supply all the Dr. Pepper anyone can drink...and CL you just bring your goofy self....and my shed will continue to be a safe haven for you for as long as you want....

Seems like a novel in character post right? But I read the last line as a Freudian slip. "...be a safe haven for you ..." speaking to CL.

Yeah, I agree with you HN and Ice....like JL said "GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT"....professing Innocent doesn't really prove if a player is or isn't who they say they are.....and for protecting CL, everyone in the last games jumped on the bandwagon and lynched him, and he turned out to be a Townie...but I don't know whether he is one or the other...all I know is what I am...but words don't mean much....Pappy I knew ya were kidding...I guess all we have is blinders on right now until the Detective and Mayor can point us in the right direction...and like 13 said in game 3...I am Innocent and all of you are Mafia....that is really the only way to look at things...we all know who and what we are...but we don't know who everyone else is....so I am throwing caution to the wind and keeping my vote for Nola...if he is an Innocent and he decides not to post, then he will succumb to an embarrassing disease or the Mafia just might take him out....and the Detective and Mayor and Vig. don't know any more than we do,because it is still the first night...everything gets rolling on the 3rd or 4th night...and then we will see who really is Mafia, time will tell......

Now agrees with Ice? And is asking about the Detective, Mayor, Vig positions... Also manages to throw in a few more defenses for CL.

Maybe he is just doing that...like Ice said....waiting it out to see people's reactions...but that really isn't fair play...pretending not to want to play and then showing up less than 2 days later and voting to lynch someone...Now ya got my curiosity peeked Ice...so I am going to keep my vote for Nola and see what happens by tomorrow night...and if he was or is an innocent, then he was telling the truth...but we don't know what is going on...it really isn't a hard game to follow...but I guess ya had to be there in all 4 games...I was still a little confused even in game 2...but I caught on...and this game is just supposed to be fun...not mean or anything else...so I hope everyone else continues to play...and like ya said NJ...RB put alot of work into this and and we all waited patiently for the roles to be sent to us...and we joined to play a fun game, like RB said in the rules....it is meant as a fun game, nothing more nothing less...and if anything goes on other than the rules, he will ask the Mods to pull the game...(even though he is a Mod)..that would be heartbreaking)...:lipssealedsmilie:

You're right he actually made it through game 3...oopppsss my bad..I just don't feel Mafia screaming in his blood...and not covering for a buddy...I just don't want to make the same mistakes we did in game 1 and 2....but I guess time will tell.... and he does type some nonsense (no offense CL)..

Well, here we go....Cory Lover is still here...

I VOTE TO LYNCH CORY LOVER,,, because for one thing I am not protecting him...if he is mafia, then we got one...and 5 more to go...I AM NOT MAFIA....and I went back through the majority of the posts and CL does post in and out....and I do have a gut instinct he is Mafia...I didnt tag team with anyone not even KOTD...the reason I voted for DD in the first night was because she voted for me first and then changed her mind...had nothing to do with me....as for me not posting all day is because I work 10 hour days...ugh....and for CL to claim I am Mafia...well we will see who is really Mafia....I am going on my own accords for this game this time...and not following anyone...just voting as my gut feelings go...:lipssealedsmilie:

But they were so sure before CL was Innocent. And now they are just voting for CL because DD said they were protecting CL. I dunno it just doesn't wash.

Okay my first vote in first night..post 188..reason stated there...post 264 and reason posted there also...and Ice and DD it seemed try to do a bandwagon....but then all of a sudden DD changes her vote to CL...when she voted for CL in the first place and then changed to Meemee and then changed back to CL...smoke screen to me...and they weren't revenge votes either...if you go back and read the post numbers and the conversations it will show you that I wasn't voting for revenge....

so my top 3 Mafia suspects are...
1..CL...just for the rambling posts
2..Mad..protecting CL at this in the game seems a little weird to me...and she even said she thinks CL might not be Mafia...who is protecting who now...and for saying I voted for Ice after he was dead...he wasnt dead yet..
3..DD..she can play the game well and lead everyone to believe she is a Townie...when she could very well be Mafia..
4..Ogre...Not really sure yet..and Judge is tied with Ogre..I will give reasons later...:lipssealedsmilie:

The Mafia threw CL under the bus and jumped on the wagon because we all nailed them. Then Mee-Mee gives this list which is almost opposite of mine and many others I "trust" so far. Trust is in quotes because, well, who can you trust in this? Judge is mentioned, but as far as I'm concerned they are free and clear now.

And no one blamed you for staying away too long...I work 10 hour days and have to get up early in the morning...and I only have a 3 hour window to play this game...so how does me coming in late peg me as Mafia...I could say the same about you...just because you have a life outside of the game just like the rest of us...how come you aren't pegging the others that have posted so little or as much as they can in the time that they have to be on here and then go to bed.....I could really call you Mafia and that you are trying to sway votes away from CL...just because people come into the game late don't mean a single thing...and besides you need to reread the post CL made about me saying that he knows or thinks I am telling the truth about being and Innocent...and now and Ogre has played the game many times outside this game also and you don't peg him Mafia...hhhmmm...YOU ARE MAFIA...but I am keeping my vote for CL...and alot of others on here didn't vote for just one person they did all random...which I did in the beginning and the first 2 days are hard to peg someone as Mafia...and the constant posting and not posting don't mean nothing...how do you know that the ones that hardly posted aren't Mafia...or ya just going by what CL said...hhhmmm cahoots to me...:lipssealedsmilie:

Now on Day 3 getting mighty defensive with judgemax pointing the finger at you. I will be putting more weight in Judge's posts now, as I see them as being 90% Innocent. There is still a small doubt but surviving a Mob hit does a lot to boost your credability.

It's a really long post but after I compiled it I didn't see any other choice but to put it out there. Heck, I could be way off base here, but it feels right. I had the same feeling about CL from the start, look at my Day 1 vote for proof. I also have the same feeling for bkw1982.

First off, good job Doctor in saving one of our townies. This is the first time I can tell that the Doctor was able save someone.

I am glad the Doctor made this choice and I am curious about two things.

1) Why the mafia wanted to kill judgemax.

2) Why the doctor wanted to protect judgemax.

I am also glad that as a town we lynched a mafia member. I was not sure if they were mafia or not, but it seemed like the best move.

I think we have a very WEAK mafia group and their game play has much to be questioned.

I think it will not be that hard for us to sniff them out.

So far that list has me curious. At this time, I can't see a better list of suspects.

hmmm.... I may be over thinking things. I was pretty much under the assumption that this was a strong mafia group.

I may need to reconsider some things.

I've been busy this morn but long story short my 5yo son needs fillings.

Wow, what a turn of events! Nice save doc, and crazy but brilliant work Judge. I was afraid the Mafia would go after you as they did with Ice when they felt threatened. Some tried to say Ice had it all wrong, but I had a feeling this group of Mafia liked to see any threats gone. That being said I'm putting my suspicions out there anyways so that if I get whacked, the town will know where to turn.

I agree that KOTD is Mafia. His reaction to my accusation at the start of day two only added fuel to the fire and his reactions last night as much as confirmed it.

mee-mee is mafia as well and if no-one has pointed it out, the fact that she still voted for Nola after Ice told her that her vote would be wasted points to that fact.

I've been suspicious of HookedNewbie also. He came in and voted for Nola right when the votes for CL were starting to pick up and made some comment about doing it because DD changed her vote. Seemed like more CL protection going on.

I had similar feelings about FL as Judge did, but could't really put words to it as well as Judge did. In and out and no useful info, I suppose.

And if Coler is the Don, then he should be taken out if not immediately. His reaction to the Mafia's failed attempt at Judge didn't seem his usual self. Less boisterous, maybe?

OK these are my thoughts, take it or leave it, but for the town's sake, please take it. I will vote after further discussions as suggested by Ogre last night.

Oh and Jensons once accused me of going after pple who voted for Nola. She's darned right I am because to me at least a couple of those votes were Mafia. I just had to be careful not to accuse misled townies.

I agree w/ Z also, Mee-mee remains at the top of my list right now. Unless someone comes up w/ a better case for someone else, I suspect that I will be voting for Mee-mee again.

In addition to what I've pointed out regarding Mee-mee's revenge votes, and Z's observations that Mee-mee was more subtly trying to guide folks away from CL (only to chuck him under the bus when it was clear that all was lost), here's some further thoughts I have on the subject. It mainly deals with some things said by Cory Lover.

Here Cory Lover gives his list of suspected mafia after being accused. Even though Mee-mee's been saying all along that he's probably innocent, he tosses her in anyway. Possibly distancing themselves, as Mee-mee then starts hurling accusations back at CL. CL also names me, but I don't bite, as I've been accused before, and will be again....Only I saw my role PM, so I understand that not everyone knows or trusts that I'm a townie. I actually then go on to try to persuade townies to build a better case for CL, or reconsider their vote altogether.

Heres my list of Mafia suspects:

mee-mee: Trying to protect me therefor making people think we are both mafia.....it was a smart move by mee-mee because I would go the next round...but its dumb because she will probably go after me. Thats why I vote lynch mee-mee which I'm 99.9% is Mafia IMO.

Madcrawdad: Even though he has a sick kid.....he is playing a TOTALLY different game and I think he is trying to lay low.

NeonJulie: Once she was getting a little whacked by some people in the beginning of the game.....she pretty much didn't say a word again. Hmmmm.

Well, that my picks.....I know you wont take then in consideration but all I can do is hope.

By this point, I've gone on to string some of Mee-mee's quotes together to build a stronger case, and other folks are starting to look harder at Mee-mee. Two reasons for the following statement...CL is saying, 'When I'm dead, I hope its obvious that Mad & I are allies, and the Mee-mee can't be mafia, as I'm guilty and I've named her as mafia.

Very well said about mee-mee Mad.....I like your way of looking at things with the Mafia game.

Now the next one is even more interesting, and more conspiratorial in nature. Keep in mind that the original post was EDITED by CL. Post #573 originally submitted at 10:06pm (CDT) and edited at 10:15pm (CDT). I'm bolding the edited portion in the quote so folks can see what I'm talking about.

At some point yesterday, both Ogre and myself came to CL's defense (I more strongly than Ogre). In his original post, CL said something like 'Looks like it's over now....no need to cover for me anymore Ogre and Mad.' IMO this original statement was a very shallow attempt to tie Ogre and myself to him, and I would think others would agree. Problem is, upon rereading his post, CL must have also thought it looked pretty shallow and changed it to say 'Have fun Ogre and mad.....blah, blah' ..... it looks less shallow and more like someone about to get lynched making a casual observation. If other townies could confirm reading the original version of this post I'd greatly appreciate it.

Ladydada....I find this game so interesting, don't you? Well....I think I'm going out....its so funny how the Mafia are winning the war....and the townies are winning the battle. I'll just sit back and relax these next days....it will be so much fun.

So, Mee-mee is still at the top of my list, but I've got 1 or 2 more folks in mind. I plan to re-read and build a stronger case, but it probably won't be until later today or maybe even tonight.

Mad I do indeed remember the original post by CL. Because when I read it I was very thrown off by why he would word it like that. It took you two down a peg on my list. That is a good thing BTW, as my list is 1-5 with 5 being "Mafia." The only 5 on my list right now is Mee-Mee, but there are several 4's I've discussed previously.

I know that I've also been guilty of editing posts (correcting spelling, fixing wording or adding information), but it's really important that everyone stop. Not only has rbishop asked people to stop, but editing posts can change the game.... If the mafia slips up and says something, they shouldn't be able to edit that post and make that info go away. If the mafia steps in it, so be it, that's the game.

As I said in an earlier post, post #573 was edited by Cory Lover, and greatly changed how others might read that particular post. What's put out there originally should stay out there...(ie, evidence shouldn't disappear). Any corrections should come in subsequent posts.

I think we need to view any editing as a mafia move from here on out....

Just my thoughts.
