what fish looks like a dragon

How much space do they need? 100 gallons or more? What does "Secure Tank" mean? Thicker glass?

A 60g wide would be plenty for a pair of the above mentioned species. By 'secure', I mean one with a good, complete top...Polypteridae need to breach regularly to breathe and often inavertently jump out of the tank.

yep although i've never had a prob with mine and there's a pretty big hole in the back for the filter. they don't mess with plants and seem to enjoy playing in them.
the more common senegal bichir is easily found in most petsmarts as the 'dinosaur eel' and get about a foot and will eat pretty much anything but flake.

Yah, block up those holes in the top. I lost a senegal floor diving. Cracked her poor little head open on the hardwoods. Fortunately the other two are still doing quite well, and growing like weeds.

There's a freshwater fish out there called a Dragon Fish.

violet gobies, however, are brackish fish, not freshwater. they look, eat, and grow better in brackish water.

Those are leafy sea dragons and are quite marine...not at all FW....also endangered and protected.
