I'm not sure, I know the rules are 2 days, but I'm not sure if it's 2 day cycles ingame, or two actual days.
I haven't had a chance to read (or comprehend) as deeply as I would like to, but I will weigh in on this. 2 letters singly bolded, in the middle of several paragraphs, is not an accident, and is not a typo. It's much more easier to mistype the then it is to accidentally type it - I mistype it all the time, so I know. Even if Judgemax was right on the money (as I think she could be with some of her list), it is still highly suspicious. Being smart is one thing - most of us consider Ogre and MadCrawdad regular pros, Coler good too, and I'd like to add in DD since I've never once got her right... but even these people have SOME uncertainty behind their posts. Because they aren't not sure 100%, of even their top three - let alone 5 mafia, the vigilante/judge/doctor etc. Exactly what would be the odds of making 85% of the mafia in less than two day cycles? 6 out of roughly 20 some people. When you add in that she feels she's nailed the rest of the power players, well, it makes one barely want to play, and instead throw up your hands and wonder where she learned her magic trick and how I could be so stupid as to "not see" what is so clearly obvious to her. It doesn't smell right. Even if you were of a criminal investigating mind, the internet is not really the real world, and without studying faces, personal ticks, manneurisms, I don't think it could completely explain how it is she's, what someone called, the Town Psycho.actually, the internet is the best place to investigate anything, it gives you more clues, and any other information you desire, only if you use it. And I'm sorry, I'm not falling for the "oops the PM letters just FELL out."
Of course I didn't see it develop as it happened, but as I read the forthcoming rapid responses, it really seems like she was back peddling. And how could it be possible that someone else could edit her post?
Here's what I'm going to suggest happens, because I for one, edit my posts often because I'm thinking and not really watching how I type, and inevitably, it ends up differently.
There IS a window that the system allows you to go back and change. I'm willing to guess that it's 30-60 seconds, that if you edit, won't show an edit mark. I could be wrong, but I don't think so, because if I wait too long, let's say I'm reading my post and at the end, I see something I want to fix, if it's later than about a minute, the edit message appears. My guess, is that Judgemax posted... KOTD quoted her, and then within a few seconds, she did a fast edit to bold those items. I believe strongly, that it's why KOTD shows those letters regular, whereas her original message shows them in bold, but she did it within the window of time allotted to fix mistakes. Well we KNOW it wasn't RBishop, and we know no one else has administrative rights, but her, to edit messages. Be that as it may, how could it not be intentional? I already discussed how very unlikely it is someone could accidently mistype and misbold two letters, in the middle of two words in the middle of several paragraphs, perfectly. So let's say she was going somewhere with the subliminal message... why would she want someone to see PM? Does it stand for something other than Private Message?
But let's say she is a power role, let's say the mayor. How many investigations does the mayor get again? Let's say, one per night? Is it, per night CYCLE? Or is it a literal 24-hour night? How is it possible for someone to have 5 responses, if they were, by PM? Could a mayor do that? With the detective out on night 1?
I'm quite confused, as you can imagine.
