White spots on their fins and head is the ick disease. Take out any filter media you may have in the filter/s, leave the filters running tho, just take out any carbon, or anything like that in the filter/s, then turn the heater up a bit and get something that will get rid of ick, you can get a solution to kill ick at any LFS, but turning the heater up helps speed up the life cycle of the ick parasites.
I just want to add that if it is ick and you turn up the heat, only do so if you are actively treating the ick with medication. If you don't, you'll speed the life cycle and create a bigger problem for yourself rather quickly. If memory serves me correctly, ick can withstand temps up to 86* so anything over that for a period of time will kill it off. Keep your fish needs in mind though - a lot of people can't raise temp that high without stressing their fish.
Thanks, and yes i have removed the carbon and ceremic frm the power filters, and i am running them 24/24hrs. I have treated the tank with medication frm the LWS which i have to continue for three days. I never knew bout the heater but il definately use it to heat the water to speed up the life cycle of the ick parasites.
Again, if I'm not mistaken, you'll need to treat the water for longer than 3 days, despite what the directions may tell you. I have learned through trial and error that you should treat for a few days after you see the last ick spot, which could be 7 days or more. Good luck - ick is a nasty issue to deal with, but you can get rid of it.

If you're seeing worms on the glass and in the gravel thats planaria, just increase your water changes and they'll disappear, they show up when they'res an abundance of waste/food in the tank.
