stocking for 20 gallon long

hows does this sound for a stocking idea:
- 3-4 cory cats (whatever store has I will double check)
- 6 cardinal tetra
- 3 cherry barbs
- 2 ADF's
- 1 Honey Gourami

When I did that in my 75 gallon tank,....the honey's went at each other like they were OLD ENEMIES & one of them had said some REALLY bad stuff about the other one's mother or something!!

:lol: if added at the same time, there shouldn't be a problem. My preference is trios for gouramis 1M 2F.

if you can find female honey gouramis. you may have to have your LFS order them for you.

i would cut the barbs though and add two or three more cardinals. you'll see brighter colors and more activity.

I agree. You can get dwarf gouramis instead, a single male should be fine...

A coral/blue dwarf gourami with cardinal tetras is a very striking. It's very common, but it looks great.

^I agree. Take out the barbs. Three isn't enough and now you have more space for tetras.
