Beer and pizza sounds good... although my boss charges $60 per hour for tank maintenance, just so you know. Oh, but make him buy you good beer at least, none of that domestic light stuff.

I'd rather talk to him and persuade him to start maintaining his tank if he wants the pleasure to watch a tank full of healthy fish. If not, then the tank should go to someone else who is more responsible to the hobby like you.

I agree. I've helped many friends with maintenance and tearing down/setting up tanks during moves. I wouldn't think of charging them anything monetarily.Just tell them to provide a 12pack and have some fun while you do it.

There is a difference between someone who has to move (always a lot of work) or someone who's simply to lazy to refresh some water every week or month.
