What brand or type of water conditioner do you trust most for your arowana tank?

Please guys, can you share some ideas on this? and maybe if you've experienced like a failure, large or small with any brand, feel free to let us know.

I used to use API conditioner and Fritz complete on my cichlid tank to remove chlorine. Now I just used sodium thiosulphate because it's the main ingredient in most conditioners. I used this Calc to figure out how much was needed. If you want something simple, Fritz is good. I don't have experience with arowana so dunno if they are sensitive to anything. Definitely do some research on sodium thiosulphate. Seachem is supposedly good too but haven't used it myself.

I’ve had the best luck with Seachem Prime — it’s been super reliable for my arowana setup. Does the job without clouding the water or messing with parameters, even during big water changes.

I tried a cheaper brand once (don’t even remember the name) and noticed my arowana acting weird for a day or two after. Never again. With sensitive fish like arowana, I’d rather pay a little more for peace of mind.

Curious what others are using too — always good to compare notes!
