I don't remember the species cause I've read so much tonight, but a couple of the fish that I was reading about said that too high a pH can cause sterility. ? I only got baby guppy's once, they were eaten, except for the last one that I found dead, and all the adult/juvie guppy's died too...

Kordon's NovAqua Plus (sp?) claims it can help stabilize pH. Any ever try/ experience/ document/ etc this with their tank?? (I only need to raise the pH just a tad - it tends to be about 6 - 6.4, I'd like 6.4 - 6.8, but stable. And I'm just wondering if I could use this instead of seachems...

Wow, he's gorgeous! I didn't even know bettas came in orange! One of my bettas has slightly 'out-set' gills and breathes fast too, other than that seems ok. (I also have at least one that her gill flaps are so short she can't really 'flare' properly lol.) How's he doing?

I find removing the plantlets from dying leaves is best, when I leave them on to fall off on their own they often die instead. don't know why.

I recently read something about a 'marble' gene in bettas that can cause them to change colors or even go colorless. Maybe that's it? All my white bettas change color either immediately upon getting home or after a few months. My blue boy is now tie-dyed lol, and my red boy is turning purple...

Update: The dwarf sags haven't shown any improvement, yet. (However they are newer than the 1 that has started doing good, and farther away from the light and co2 than that one.) Will keep watching them. I put some of the bits near one of the two lily's, and I haven't seen any more lily leaves...
