How about some algea eating shrimp? My algea eatign shrimp cleand the algea off my snails. There wasn't a lot there, but they kept the snail algea free.

Sorry to hear about the guppy going down the drain. :-( Make sure you get hardy fish to cycle the tank. Guppies are not hardy fish. Danios are hardy and so are some tetras; red tetra, black skirted tetra and a few others.

My female beta doesn't bother my shrimp at all. The shrimp do like the moss ball I have, and other live plants. They also like the 1 fake plant I have. My shrimp seem to like driftwood too.

Do these assassin guppies kill pond snails? :thm: If so, I'll take a few. lol Nips

did you try adding garlic? Snails usually love garlic. My snails loved my snail jello, but they dont live long. :-(
