I can't speak on dwarf puffers but I have a green spotted in my 55 with cories and peacock eels and he leaves them all alone.

Well if I read right, the cfs700 comes to 30" tall with the shut off valve. That's far too big to fit under either 55g cabinet I have so I'm going for the cfs500 with the UV. If it works out I'll switch to CFS filters all around.
