    Mystery Snail Eggs

oh yeah that's what they looked liked! Darn I could have had escargot for the fish. Next year I won't tear them up then. I doubt there are any or many snails that I didn't add, it's only about 35-40g pond and it's covered with mesh screening. (The squirrels have been jumping on it and dented...

WTB Seeking 2 or 3 mystery snails. Pink, purple, blue, or ivory

How does one 'sex' mystery snails? I know I've got at least 2 in the pond, purple I believe, might have 1 or 2 ivory (kinda pink) ones. I think I can send them for less than $10 priority (I'm checking some other threads to make sure the way I'm thinking of wrapping them is correct, they have...

I've mailed the first box of snails (so now I have a much better idea of some things lol). A small flat rate box gets about 100 snails (about a tablespoon, seriously, I counted). To send at the flat rate priority this amount will be $8 to send first class, same amount, $6.50...

Fish beating itself up / water parameters normal - ???

I recently read something about using salt for freshwater velvet, but first it said something along the lines of 2 tablespoons per gallon, and further on in the article it said 1 tbls per gallon - and it was written by the same person. :/ IF, either of those are even correct, it doesn't say...

Fish beating itself up / water parameters normal - ???

ebo jagers? is that a brand? on occassion they would get a little fuzz, not often just maybe 2 or 3? times. they would also, or just seem kind of legarthy and sadish, and they just seemed to feel better when the heat was up more. I would not say a lot of disease, no. Generally Melafix and...

Fish beating itself up / water parameters normal - ???

well I can't keep the heat up, no heater. how long can I keep it dark before the plants suffer? I just added some new ones and transplanted some from other tanks, I'm afraid the new ones might die (argh!). Will the velvet 'starve' without the light? (and how long would that take?)

Most snails will be less than 1 cm, so I should be able to get a bunch in a bag. Going with small flat rate boxes, delivery confirmation, (ask specifically for insurance or sig confirmation if you want those - cost extra.) Will include small amount of plant for them to hang on to. (Probably...
