    XL African Dwarf Frogs

The Petsmart near my house sells these.... They look nice and seem like they'd be easier to care for, but I can't seem to find any information regarding them. Maybe they're just baby clawed frogs? Has any one here had any experience with these frogs?

    just got new tank

3 cory cats and 5 neons will fit nicely if not push the limits of your tank. I plan to do something similar with one of my tanks.

    Tank dividers

I think I'm going to divide one of my 10gal tanks into thirds and have a betta montage (2 bettas, 3-6 frogs, 2-4 snails, drift wood, java moss, river rocks / sand / gravel) and turn the other into a cory tank (2 spotted, 2 emerald, and my gourami), the only problem isn't I havn't quite decided...

    Cuttle Fish ?

No, but if you have snails it will help them grow stronger, healthier shells.

    Cuttle Fish ?

Birds chew on it to maintain their beaks. My hen eats it to replace calcium when she's laying eggs.

    Damselfy in my aquarium!!!!

I just have this thing with bugs. I know it has a right to live, just not in one of my tanks. The damselfly doesn't bug me nearly as much as the dragonfly larve.

    Need help with "adopted" tank

They'll be happy on flake and bloodworms for now. How do you have live fruit flies? Are they pests from around the house (can't imagine how you'd catch them) or do you buy them? Could be a nice treat for your fish. My danios love flies, but they're almost like sharks. They eat their daily...

    Need help with "adopted" tank

With the amount of stress those fish have been through buying a packet of Biospria would be in your best interest. After you use that I'd get rid of the CAEs since they're probably mature and will most likely ignore any alge in the tank in favor of the slime coat on other fish; flesh out the the...

    Euthanizing a betta

I just had to enthanize a betta last night :( I had a red betta in a bowl which I believe had fungus in it (the water smells like mold). I put my white and blue betta into my danio tank but noticed she was hiding and siting at the bottom. When I put him in a floating betta bowl I noticed him had...

much confusion on this or that loach PLZ!!

A picture would help. From what I can find only the black khuli loach exists as a legitmate variant. The "thai" name only appears in the Thai Giant Khuli Loach for which I can find no information and is only refrenced here. there is no difference in care for these two variations. If you...

    feeding suggestions for slantnose gar

I'd think gars would be carnivourous. Try some beefheart and see what he does. If the fish was just added to his tank recently allow several days for him to become accoustomed to the new environment.

HELP: filled from the tap, overflowed tank, fish dying...

Leaving the room during a water change is hardly a faliable offence depending on your refill method. I leave the room during my refill (not while siphoning water from the tank) because a) when siphoning water I use marks on the bucket to know exactly how much I've removed and thus can put back...
