I'll give it a try then. The two mollies I have now are boys, but they're still pretty young. Hopefully I can secure a bunch of females to avoid the problem, but when you order online it really is the luck of the draw.

I looked into orange chromides back when I was planning stock, but it turned out that they eat plants, and I couldn't find any for sale anyway. Do you know if green chromides also eat plants? If not, I'll look into them.

I change about 30-40% of the water every other week, but I sometimes do smaller changes in between when I can. There are currently three mollies in the tank along with three knight gobies.
