I hope you are catching from a non-fertilized area. I never catch my feeders, as you never know what diseases they are carrying and what they have eaten. Guess it's a personal concern, but something people should watch out for (especially if you live in a city area, or dirty place).

Just be careful and do your research on them first (possibly post on the BOI on FaunaClassifieds). There are good and bad breeders, and even some that seem good and are pretty bad. I'm very wary about who I buy from now, seeing how many people have been screwed.

The monitors are generally what are cheap, it's the giant enclosure and everything else you need. Most (if not all, depending on species though) monitors are CH/WC. I've seen the majority of them for under $50, besides Ackies.

GE Silicon I doesn't have mold/mildew from what I remember. I would only use GE Silicon I for Windows. I used this on my sump for my saltwater tank with no issues.

They are two different products, the one does not contain those chemicals used for mold and mildew.
