I have to say it...betta's should not be in bowls. They are a tropical fish and need a constant tropical temperature around 78*. This is nearly impossible in a bowl. Ok.....back on topic.

Get some java moss and put some cherry shrimps in and some trumpet snails.

I voted other I think this would be a good tank for some brine shrimp. You could have a good number of them in this tank.

Shrimp and snails are all that I would put in there. You could make a little mini aquascape with java moss and a little java fern right in the middle, and maybe a small piece of driftwood or a rock. Then put in 2 shrimp. Something colorful like amanos or cherry shrimp.

You may get away with a snall pond snail but any of the Pomaceas need atleast 2 gallons - Pomacea caniculata probably 10 gals.
