i have a 1 gallon tank that i use to breed snails for my puffers, but even with decorations its drab, any ideas what to put in it? i don't have an lfs around with shrimps besides ghost shrimp, and those rn't pretty and i prefer just feeding them to the puffers :)

so any other inverts?
or is there even a fish that would do ok in a 1 gallon tank with pond snails?
it has a sponge filter

(and no one say betta, i have one in my 10 gal and thats the minimum i would put one in)

cherry shrimp are pretty nice looking ,and can be easily ordered, online or a LFS should get them in if you ask.. a little larger the flower shrimp is very nice

If you consider 10g the minimum for a betta, then there aren't any fish you could put in a 1g. I'd suggest a cherry shrimp as well, but skip on the flower shrimp.

Was going to say the same thing. Betta's are the only fish I think you could keep in a one gallon.

if you had a lid i'd suggest a trio of dwarf killies(H. forsoma) or possibly similar small killies.

not that i know of

nope, at least not that you'll find in a store. almost every sp. of crab sold in store for FW are really semi-terrestrial BW crabs, i would say every sp. but there is always that one store out there with an insane selection that has a FW crab.

really?!?!Every shop I visited keep crabs in tanks with no land where they can come out of the water.Well if you don't want snails then i think you're left with shrimps
