1 koralia or 2

im wondering if i should go with (1) koralia 2 or (2) koralia 1's....

they/it would be going in a 29gallon....

ideas???

in the future i might be looking to do a reef, but for now, FOWLR...

so should i be looking for 25x turnover??? if thats the case, i would go with the 2 koralia 1's.... but if i can get away with 1 koralia 2, (more room in my aquarium), then that would be cool too... thats 20x turnover...

As your only going with a FOWLR system, 10 x turnover is more than adequate for you untill you go full reef..then yes, 25 x is needed...

So, you could actually get away with just one Koralia 1 pump for your tank...

I would go with the #2. I had a #1 and didn't really find it to be very useful at all.

Actually, I can't really think of a scenario when the #1 would be useful. I want to say on a 10 gallon tank, it'd probably be good, but it's so physically big, that I'm not sure if that'd be good, either.

if i go with the 2, why not the 3.... they are the same size but larger output.... im thinking if i go the 2 koralia 1's route, i can better customize the flow and removed dead areas...

If you think you'll go reef in the foreseeable future I'd go 2 #2s

Not too much for a reef. If you're not going reef stay with 2 #1s. Or shoot you could get one #2 and add one later.

they are just huge though huh.... ill probably go with 2 #d 1s... more flow than just 1#2... i could keep some basic reef life on 25x turnover right??
