Hello again,

Thanks for the reply ArkyLady.

I forgot to tell you that the last time I checked the tank at the pet store, everything was fine (nitrites, nitrates, ammonia) except the ph was a little low at appx 6.8. I've been testing them at home and the ph is at 7 now and ammonia low/absent. I will take it to pet store again to confirm everything but I last checked it at the store appx 1 week ago before these last fish died.

Forgot that I also have a male and female Rosy Barb which are very active and aggressive eaters. I'll halt on buying fish. I knew I was getting a lot in there.

Haven't seen but 4-5 of the tetras out of the 9 I had originally 1-2 weeks ago. What could be wrong with them I wonder?

Also, the dwarf frog has been floating around on top and up and down the tank over the past 2 days. He's alive but it's weird because I hadn't seen him but rarely in the past 2 weeks I've had him. Why is he so active now?

neons are very sessitive to water conditions. if you had an ammonia spike you didnt know about it could kill them.

i feel your pain, i have 4 out of 10. uggg newbieism

That sounds about normal for a dwarf frog to me! Mine have always been very timid until they become accustomed to the tank, then pretty active.
