Sorry, I hope I didn't get anyone's hopes up. But checked the postcard again and the only locations listed on the back are Hoffman Estates, IL and Bolingbrook, IL, I didn't know they all run independ sales. But I guess you can still price match anywhere at Petsmart, so not a complete loss. Here is the postcard attachment, happy price matching.

Chicago area Aquarium Adventures.




As the store manager was telling me only certain sizes were on sale she told me why.
Apperently glass prices are on the rise so the corp. office would only allow a sale on some of the sizes they have surplus of. She said that glass aquarium prices "will take a big jump soon." Just a heads up that this hobby might be getting more expensive soon.

Sounds like time to also take advantage of petco's $1 a gallon sale at the end of august.

Anyone ever shop at the Hoffman Estates store?

I know alot of people seem to be asking about this, so I thought I would share. Just received a postcard in the mail about it.

Aquarium Adventure is having its $1 Per-Gallon sale from June 28th - July 6th.

Card info: $1 per-gallon on 20 gal, 29 gal, 38 gal, 55 gal & 75 gal
$2 per-gallon on 125 gal, 150 gal & 210 gal
Also 50% off on all fish.

They say they have freshwater clams and cherry shrimp!! Every LFS store in the area dont carry this, or some carry ONLY the cherry shrimp, but are out.

On the 50% off fish, some prices are set initialy high, but they do have a great selection. They get the nicest GBRs if anyone is looking, pays to visit. The stock looks good all the time, they usualy have like 20people working per store and some do know what they are doing.

Another thing they do have a club discount(you have to pay to join), keep that in mind.
