I kind of lose interest for a while, then get back interested. So, sometimes the tank is like a potted plant that I only feed and change water. Other times I spend hours thinking how to upgrade and looking at larger tanks. Generally, I like the overgrown "jungle" look but, I have recently done some serious pruning. I took about 4o% of the total plant mass out. Things grow like mad with too much light. Even without ferts and co2.
