you could try glasscages and order a custom 10 gallon, but it may not be a good idea to custom build something as small as a ten gallon...

the dimensions of a 10 is 20x10x12. i don't see how you can lop off 6" and still have 10 gals.

That's called a half 10 gallon tank, which of course, isn't 10 gallons, nor longer than the standard 10 gallon.

I've never heard of a 10-long before. What are the dimensions to it?

10 long is 24 1/4 x 8 1/2 x 12 5/8, and does exist.
I've never seen it for sale though, I'm not sure where you could find it.

Who made that tank? It doesn't sound like a size AGA or Perfecto would've done.
