10 gallon betta tank

I moved my dragon bettas to the 20, they have hammocks and a bunch of plants to lay on. I pulled the divider out of the 10 and put my candy nemo copper giant into the tank. I put some SA Bumblebee catfish in with him to grow them out for the 40B. I also was given Columbian ramshorn snails and put them in the tank to.

I can't keep your bettas straight. :) I can't remember if it was the hellboy or the candy copper nemo that I really liked. They're all really cool fish, don't get me wrong, but one of them really caught my eye. Enough to make me think I may want to use 5 or 10 gallon for a betta. And I haven't kept a betta for years. So many new colors!

What the heck is a candy Nemo copper giant
Candy Nemo is a coloration of koi betta, breed that with a copper betta you get a mix of copper nemo, copper candy or candy nemo copper bettas. It’s a new strain that was recently bred.

cant people be content with the varieties of fish from the wild, captive breeding is barley any better and it isn’t worth it to ruin a fish’s genes just for pretty colors. If you wanted a pretty fish you should get a fish that is pretty from the wild

Really have no idea why you harass me constantly on bettas. The bettas I keep are Betta Splendins, which have been captive bred for decades and are hybrids. Same goes with angelfish and a lot of cichlids. I have fish that aren’t bred for coloration such as gold barbs, catfish, peacock eels, and a few others. A lot of fish are captive bred that you keep. I like bettas for their colors and personality. Wild bettas are now being bred in captivity to be more colorful in Thailand and there more hybrid bettas now.

why are they ruining wild bettas too? Peacock eels are respectable as I keep one too but why does there need to be so much hybridization and things it’s what’s ruining the hobby. Smashed guppies hybrid bettas designer clownfish and koi and blood parrots

Betta splendens are already a hybrid created so long ago. Not found in the wild much anymore. A lot of the wild bettas collected caused an issue with and some are endangered now from over collection. Hybrid fish are not destroying the hobby. Koi are highly prized in Japan and are bred for their colors and form, plus those are worth a lot the bigger they are.

You are keeping fish in a glass box filled with water.

I would suggest against lecturing folks on keeping things 'natural'

What happens when the betta jumps?
Just because you can put a divider doesn’t mean you should house multiple bettas in 1 tank
She can if she wants to, she knows whats shes doing. Unlike you
Bettas can be kept in one tank with a divider IF they dont see each other and IF there is 5 gallons or more in each divided section. She has the perfect conditions for them, and i am proud of her.

It isnt perfect conditions of the bettas are genetic abominations
In a minute I will tell you you are a genetic abomination.. you cant go around having two accounts and faking a 87 year old man and criticizing others. And SHE HAS the perfect conditions for her bettas.
