agreed but dwarf hairgrass would be a great hideout too however slow growers they are java moss would be great for now til all of the hairgrass has taken over the tank
 
Thanks guys. I just bought some Sand & a huge piece of Lace Rock today.
 
Also, do you think 40 watts is enough to grow the Dwarf Hairgrass?
 
Well, going through the general wpg rule, you should have more than enough, but I would wait until the more "Plant tec" people get here. Thats just my input, seeing that I'm going to have 40 watts in my 20 gallon, and wanting to plant your kind of plants.

Here's what it currently looks like. Sorry about the bad quality...but there's some black sand, and a piece of lace rock, a heater, 40w of lighting, and a filter in there right now.

Well, I just tested the water. I wasn't sure if the Ph was ok or not, is it? This is the 2nd day of the cycle.

Ph - 8.0
Ammonia - 0-0.25
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
