There's great small nano tanks out there, the thing about small tanks is keeping water chemistry in balance. As long as you stock it up with live rock anyone could do a nano tank.

Ive heard about glasscages but ive never actually bought anything from them. Are they a reputable place to buy aquariums from?

They are 1 of the best. They will make any size tank you want. They are located in Tenn, so it has to be shipped here (usually around $70). I am going to buy a 48 x 24 x 13 tank from them when it warms up a bit.
 
I was thinking about having a custom tank to put under my 40B with the deminsions being 30x18x13. But its not possible right now because of car repairs :/ and i wouldnt mind giving glasscages a try. But priorities come first.
