10 gallon planted EI dosing with no CO2 question...

I have a few non CO2 articles on dosing the water column. These apply well to folks who know their goal. With CO2, you really can grow any combo of various plant species.
And the rates are such that you can garden and prune pretty easily, with non CO2, you can, but things take 10-20X longer.........okay for some people, but most are way too impatient.
No one method of dosing will meet all goals, you need to modify. PPS is merely PMDD repackaged. EI is merely PMDD with PO4 and 2-3x more ferts/CO2 and light(and 2-3x more growth).
Non CO2 is very old, going way back to Innes books. Various other authors and then recently Diana Walstad. Water column methods for non CO2 I used the rates of CO2 enhanced growth(basically 10-20X more growth) and then divided EI but 10/20X.

I wish more people that coin names and think they invented something new would check the history when it's so readily available(google search engine works fine last I checked). Very very little is "new" and claiming you came up with something new is well........not giving credit where it is due.
So it's not my "genius" in the least. I just built on what was already done. Many brands and methods rarely ever say this, I find that insulting. It preys on the ignorance of new hobbyists. We all are ignorant when we start. Using that as an advantage to sell or promote something just rubs me the wrong the way.
