10 gallon planted tank?

hey nvision what is that zig-zag thing in you tank?
(i'm new ok)

you mean that last photo? that's just me moving my camera to keep up with those pesky rainbowfish (darn tough to shoot those guys, they always move so eratically), and i ended up blurring the entire shot. the effect looks neat, and i've decided to keep it as a surrealistic novelty. :)

kveeti, your tank looks great!!
I like the variety of plants and the non-symmetry(sp?)...

The stone 'wall formation' adds to the uniqueness! :)

Also a lot of depth. It's an art to be able to accomplish that. I'll probably never be able to come close to that, but it gives me the inspiration to keep trying.
Thank you kveeti.

I'm beggining to see that the better laid out small tanks all have that quality. Check Amano's smaller tanks in his Aquarium Nature World series.

no i mean the 1st 2nd and 3rd pics on the left

i'm assuming you are referring to that clear gadget on the tank? that's a passive diffuser from the Nutrifin co2 system. i yanked out the yeast module and replaced it with a pressurized cannister, doing 30bps. it's pretty neat to see about 20 bubbles rolling consistently up that thing.
