Ok, so how does this sound for a 10 gallon tank:

28 watts of light
flourite substrate

Plants:

Anacharis and Watersprite in the back
Brazillian Pennywort, Green Temple, and Primrose in the middle ground.
Dwarf Hairgrass in the foreground.

Fish:
Betta, and either 4 panda cories, or the betta and some ottos

Does this sound like an ok setup? Any suggestions on any of this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well, you certainly have enough wattage to get pearling on the plants. Why don't you try it?

I got a 1 way valve, 6 feed of airline tubing, and a 4" bubble wand for less than 10 bucks at petsmart for my DYI. Just sunk a metal valve peice through the top of the 2 liter cap and then used a connector to attach the hosing to it. After sealed, it works like a charm.
