Alright, I am picking up a 10 gallon with lights, canopy, filter, heater, and basically everything else. My plan is to use some of the gravel from my current 25 as well as a piece of driftwood and the filter (which is in use for my 25) to cycle my 10.
Anyways, here is my question:

10 Gallon Tank
3 Neon Tetras
2 Diamond Neon Tetras (just like Neons, but a bit bigger and only glow on top of head)
2 Male Guppies
3 Platies (1 male, 2 female).
2 Otos

Will this tank be overstocked?
Thanks a lot,

u should get one bigger school of one kind of tetra, instead of 2 smaller groups.
I see. Well from what I was told at Big Al's and the way the Diamond Neons look and behave, they basically cant tell the difference from eachother. They stay together and look alike except the Diamond Neons are a half inch bigger and they dont have the glow stripe running down their side, but down their head instead..

it may be slightly but i think if you have good enough filtration you shouldnt have to worry about biological and mecanical filtration and also as long as you keep up proper water mantinance cuz these arnt big fish by any means and turning space wont be an issue but if nething i would suggest nixing the platies or mabey the guppies

Alright. The reason I am buying this is because my uncle doesnt have a place for his platies anymore and he is giving them to us. I already have 2 guppies and the tetras. Thats the only reason I hafta buy a 10 gallon. I think my filteration should be able to handle it. Its made for 15 gallons. Thanks for the help. if anything, i can always trade in :)
