now that's a troll post if I ever saw one...

I tend to disagree with that. I'm pretty sure he ment the flower horn ate them, becuase he isn't inteligent enough to know that goldfish make very poor feeders are lacking in nutritional value(wich could/will lead to hole in the head/lateral line erosion). Bleach_Freak, do you think you can start feeding your flower horn high quality cichlid pellets and table shrimp (as a treat)? Becuase this would make a much better diet. If you absolutely have to see your fish eat/kill another fish (it's called bloodlust, and is considered wrong by many people), get 3 male and 6 female guppys and nothing else for your 10g so you can breed them and make your own feeder guppys (guppys and other tropical fish are a better feeder fish for cichlids) that won't run the risk of introducing disease like feeder golds and feeder guppys you would by from the fish/pet store.

oh, I though it said he had a flower in the aquarium and that he was eating the goldfish!! :D

lol i sumtime feed the flowerhorn bloodworm and i feed the flowerhorn goldfish cause i were off to a vacation lol

55g
1 flowerhorn fish
2 damage goldfish

10g
3 guppies(1 male,2female)
3 cories
2 ghost shrimp

2.5g
still working on it

flowerhorns don't eat fish too much in the wild. better live food choices would be things like ghost shrimp and earthworms, and commercial cichlid food.

Anyone notice this guy is typing in his sig and changing it around?

His flowerhorn ate 15 goldfish in one day?

You're a liar, and a troll IMO. :troll:

ROFLMAO!!!!!! Fishcatch, if you ever documented a wild flowerhorn, you would be a billionair and my superhero!!

Graph, depending on the size of both the feeders and the FH, it is entirely possible. Im not saying it is right or healthy or good for the fish or anything, just that its possible. My brother had a 5-star that would eat at least 10 goldies in a feeding. Sometimes it would open its mouth to get one, and 2 would swim out. :D

I meant the wild descendants of flowerhorns! :duh: and goldfish have low nutritive value as feeders, so they are crap as feeders IMO.
