$100 Billion

$3.00 a gallon. I can remember puting $3.00 worth of regular in my car and cruisin' all night! And I didn't even have to pump it myself!

(Does that date me? Anybody else remember $.28 a gallon?)

Funny how the oil companies all raised their prices because of Katrina and then posted their highest earnings ever.
 
Uncabret, gas was .32 a gallon when I got my driver's license. Yeah, it dates us. The record profit postings have been a quarterly occurrance pretty much since deregulation. Nothing funny about it. Looked at natural gas prices lately? Our gas bill tripled this year and this has been one of the mildest winters I can remember. It's 70 degrees outside right now. Hmmm...wonder who owns the natural gas companies?
