10g Nano protein skimmer

Haven't had a tank in years but I have had plenty of experience in both fresh and marine tanks. I used to always love my nano reef and recently had the urge to start up another one.
As I'm planning it out right now, I'm undecided if I'm going to go with a protein skimmer for such a small sized tank. Any ideas? Or will water changes and a good test kit be sufficient in a tank that size?

water changes and testing, don't need a protein skimmmer, water changes will do

i beg to differ water changes will not take out the yummy black and brown sludge that a skimmer would if you can find one for a tank of your size it would be good thing to have. also you could try maken one that would be a nice easy way to do it.

let me add some more, if you plan on doing a fowlr or a reef than i would suggest a skimmer
