10g Planted

Thanks everyone. Your tank is looking good BoCoMo.

This is the most recent pic I've taken of this tank (about a week ago). I've since rescaped, however, and will update again as it fills in. :)
I removed a ton of the Dwarf Sag which disrupted the balance of this tank resulting in some nasty algae issues. I added another filter (HOT Magnum) to the tank from my 50G and have increased the CO2 and Excel dosing. I've also spread out the Hydrocotyle more and tossed in a few MTS snails. The Bacopa slowly melted away. I'm not sure why but suspect the Excel.

what type of light do you use for your hood? and what hood or w.e do you have because i dont have one and im going to rescape it into a planted tank (10 gallon as well) might take your first idea that u had about 3 years ago (: lol long time agao

Thanks Frosty. Yeah, at the moment, I only have 3 species of plants in there. There is also a dwarf Lily bulb present that is beginning to sprout some new leaves. The old one out grew my tank so I removed the monstrosity, split it into 3 sections and put them in my 50G long. The bulb was then returned to this tank to start it all over again. I'll try to post some current pics later tonight. The Hydrocotyle is growing wild at the moment but it looks very natural. I guess that's the look I'm going for here. It's not as eye-catching as my original scape, but it's a lot less work...lol. :)

Here's the tank as of today. It's still not where I want it to be...but this tank changes face so often, it doesn't really matter.

I haven't done much at all to it since the last pic was taken. I just let it grow wild. The fish sure do like it better all overgrown like this.
