Dang that sucks...yeah, they definitely do not appreciate water with really any amount of minerals. You may be able to salvage them if you rinse the roots heavily in RO water.

I think I might just end up starting over the CPs. The VFTs weren't growing and the sundews are loosing leaves. What I'm worried about are the crabs. I can't find any but I haven't torn down the whole thing yet.
So I switched out the pump with the sponge filter. I also added more peat to help soak up the water. I took out the VFTs and the Sundews and will just start over. Hopefully things work out well. Also, I think one of the Blue Vamps died since I only saw two. One coule be hiding in the foliage though.
I have some photos of my Vamps prior to going on vacation. I'm still thinking abotu what toput on where the Sundews were. Not sure if I want another VFT or something.
