Will I be able to grow plants like these with that lighting. I'm look at red ludwigia, rotala magenta, riccia, swords, moneywort, hornwort,moss ball, wisteria, banana plant .
youre gonna need more than the average 2-3 wpg if youre using power compacts for a 30" depth. I would shoot for 4 wpg of PC or metal halide.
I'll still being research for the right fixture I want. I'm close to saying catalina fixture. But I just seen that mgamer posted the site fishneedit.com for a different fixture for a guy with a 210 I seen 4 ft fixture for cheap $140 heres the site http://www.fishneedit.com/4ft4bulbs-with-l44.html

probably the catalina is better. If you have the money and you want T5's I would suggest Tek lights which are considered the best.
If I had that tank though I would go right for Metal halide especially if I wanted to do some microswords, hairgrass or some other ground cover. I would get one metal halide 250 watt MH 10K pendant hanging over it. That actually would be cheaper than the Tek light T5 and I would think nothing can produce better light than MH.

I still haven't got a light fixture been busy with work and such ok catalina has a sale back on for the 4-54 watt fixture for $190 do i need the legs (which are $10 ) I'm not looking to hang the light from my ceiling.
I want a easy setup (no CO2 no ferts) maybe in the future but not anytime soon.
Is this the way I should go? I want to plant the plants I posted a couple posts back thanks in advance.
My main goal is to have alot of plants and color (not just green) if possible.

still the 110? if so it's 30" tall and may have a slight effect on the light penetration.
4X54 should be fine tho. just over the 2 wpg (which really does into come that much into play.
