no - I like a lot of herbivorous fish that get big - so no plants in this one.

the tank should be here in a few more weeks.
I had Aqueon make a 150 size (72x18x29) with black silicone, since it looks so much better and doesn't show any algae unlike the traditional clear stuff..
so it was special order and takes 4-6 weeks to arrive..
normally, none of the Aqueon tanks are made with black silicone (yet). only their bowfront tanks are currently.
hopefully, that will change.
Black is the 'in' thing right now - Marineland has taken the right steps and is making more and more of their tanks with black seals..Aqueon is a little behind in this regard even though their tanks are of much better build quality than the Perfecto/Marineland brand..

Nice - I'd use the space below for a sump with a trickle filter and a veggie filter, personally. Then you could even use the trimmings to feed the fish in the main tank.
well, the thing is, I already have 2 XP3's and an AC110 for filtration.
I figure that is plenty of filtration.
