picked up 100 pounds of Estes "black special" gravel for the 150 today.
I know I need at least 150 pounds, probably closer to 200 for it to look nice, being that the tank is 29" tall...

150 gallon tank is arriving at the LFS tomorrow. was supposed to come yesterday but they forgot to put it on the truck lol
the packing slip is here though.

saw the tank today. its at the LFS. they did a nice job. looks to be very well constructed - thick silicone, thick glass, two braces..
its huge.
it was sitting right next to a Marineland/Perfecto 150 long and I could not believe the difference in build quality - the marineland tank had very thin seals, thinner glass and only 1 center brace across the tank..when I first started planning all this I was considering a marineland tank -because it was cheapest. glad I didn't..
tank is all paid for, delivery will be hopefully in the next few days..
