12 Volt Man's New Fishroom Thread

I have three loaches because I had to put a fourth one down.. not sure if adding more conspecifics will help because they don't seem to nip each other at all. its they silver dollars when the 'hover' at the top of the tank.

I would imagine if they were in a tank with fast moving barbs they would be fine. but when the silver dollars 'hang', they are an easy target..

Looking great!

When I was visiting the first pages, I think ... that will be good aquarium ... but now I see ... hmm ... background and bottom is great ... bud fishes ... and artificial plants ...
So I don't read the whole topic ...
So if I had the opportunity to buy a tank, I choose other fishes like pterophyllum scalare, some geophagus, maybe horabagrus brachysoma, Crossocheilus siamensis, Nematobrycon palmeri and some ancistruses ... but it's only my opinion ...

I like these herbivorous fish so real plants are out :)

so is driftwood and rocks because these fish will get injured.

I know the tank doesn't look like much now, because they are small, but as they grow the tank will fill in and look better.

down the road there will be a 50 gallon planted tank under my 65 with all that sort of stuff :)

not sure whether or not I will be going with discus, or other south americans etc.

but that project is on the horizon
