thanks. ironically, Im not sure how well they are going to do long term in this tank because they are being out competed for food...
man, i was looking at redhooks yesterday at TFP and drooling. Nice shots man. I can take them if htey won't work! LOL
lol time will tell how these guys do.
problem is, I cant be in a situation where I have to dump handfuls of food in so that the barbs can fill up just so that the redhooks can get filled too.
its almost like that now..the barbs eat 95% of the food in no time, no matter how much I put in lol
this tank has two braces so three sections to the glass top and I put a fair bit in each location, doesnt matter though. once the barbs are up top cruising around, they get it pretty quick..
they swallow the sticks instantly, the hooks have to stop and chew them. sometimes it gets stolen right out of their mouths by a barb..this is part of the problem.
the barbs eat like they are 18" long already..
