he is actually an aggressive *******. LOL

but I put him with some 18 inch barbs that he is too afraid to try and push around:

I doubt I could keep him with fish his size or smaller. when I had him in a 30, he bullied everything.

not so in this tank: LOL:

he pushes around the two catfish a bit, but not the big monsters. He is a very smart fish LOL

Was the red just on his head or on his fins as well when you bought him. There's some on aquabid right now with a pic that looks nothing like yours.

yes, the red was there but not nearly as intense.

also, he developed more green around the gills.

the greenish tint doesn't show up to well on camera though..

you can see why even though he is really nasty, he doesn't bother the other fish LOL

he is 6 inches long, but the arrangement with the huge fish has worked out well..stops him from harrassing everything!

he is in a 90 gallon, but I don't think you really need a tank this big to keep one.

Severums usually average about 6 to 8 inches, so a 55 or better is usually okay.
